Miroslav Klose Bio:
Miroslav Klose was born in Poland on the 9th of June 1978. His father was a professional footballer, who moved his young family out of communist Poland during the ‘80s to play football in France. The family eventually settled in Germany due to their ethnic German heritage.
Klose cut his football teeth at local 7th division club, Blaubach-Diedelkopf, as a teenager. Besides playing football, Klose apprenticed as a carpenter and only secured his first full-time contract as a football after signing with FC Kaiserslautern as a 21-year-old.
