Kevin Nolan (born June 24, 1982 in Liverpool) is a former England Under-21 international who plays for Newcastle United of the Football League Championship.
Nolan signed a 4½-year deal with United on 30 January 2009, moving from Bolton Wanderers, having spent all of his senior career at the Reebok.
Liverpool born, he played for the City's schoolboys at 14 but joined Wanderers at 15 and two years later signed professional terms for the Trotters.
He made his first team debut against Charlton as a substitute in March 2000 becoming a regular in the side the following season.
An inspirational leader, Bolton gave him the club captaincy in 2006 where he played a key role in Bolton's UEFA Cup campaign.
